When opening this can of spray paint, I realized I needed a screwdriver to do so! First, I used the closest one at arm&rsquo;s reach which was way too small and I cracked the lid. Luckily, grabbing a full-sized screwdriver from the basement still got the job done.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Make sure your surface is clean.&nbsp;<\/strong>I did experience a little bubbling on one of my planters so just make sure you clean your surfaces well before spraying your surface.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Don&rsquo;t use plastic items that experience high traffic.&nbsp;<\/strong>Since plastic isn&rsquo;t absorbent, you&rsquo;ll want to pick pieces that won&rsquo;t be touched often or rubbed. While you&#8217;re waiting for it to dry, get your outdoor area prepped for spray painting &#8211; I used an old Amazon box.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"grid-x\">\n<div class=\"cell small-12 large-12\">\n<p><span class=\"step\">4<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Shake your can of <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2L8p4WV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"sponsored noopener\">Marbelizing spray paint<\/a> vigorously for about 2 minutes. Just a tip, kids love to help with this step. <img src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/15.0.3\/72x72\/1f609.png\" alt=\"\ud83d\ude09\" class=\"wp-smiley\" style=\"height: 1em;max-height: 1em\" \/><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"grid-x\">\n<div class=\"cell small-12 large-12\">\n<p><span class=\"step\">5<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Take the lid off your spray paint. Yes, this is a step since it was such a task for me. LOL! Regardless, this is where your screwdriver comes in if you bought the same can as mine.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"grid-x\">\n<div class=\"cell small-12 large-12\">\n<p><span class=\"step\">6<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Keep your spray paint about 18 inches from your planter and lightly spray in a sweeping motion. Repeat this step until you get the look you want.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"grid-x\">\n<div class=\"cell small-12 large-12\">\n<p><span class=\"step\">7<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Let your paint dry before moving your new marble planter to its permanent home.
