No worries!<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>You can make similar embroidery ornaments using the same fabric but different appliques. You could glue pre-cut felt or white paper embellishments to the front, glue white buttons, or even stencil a design using <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">white craft paint<\/a>. Make sure to size them a little smaller than the embroidery hoop you\u2019ll be using. Weed out and remove excess vinyl for each shape\/design.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The deer head shape came from <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cricut.com<\/a> as a purchase for $0.99.<\/li>\n<li>Go to <a rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">ShopCraftables.com<\/a> to download the <a rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">FREE file for the Christmas tree truck<\/a> shape I used.<\/li>\n<li>The font I used for wording in my ornaments is called <a rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Bright Beauty<\/a> and can be downloaded FREE from <a rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Dafont.com<\/a> for personal use.<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"cell small-12 large-6\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.artofproductions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/htv-christmas-ornaments-.jpg\" \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"grid-x\">\n<div class=\"cell small-12 large-6\">\n<p><span class=\"step\">2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Cut a piece of fabric a little larger than the embroidery hoop. On the highest setting, iron the decal to the middle of the fabric. Use a scrap piece of the fabric on top of the design as a press cloth &#8212; <em>do not iron directly on the vinyl.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Press the iron down over the cloth using medium pressure for about 30-40 seconds. You\u2019ll know it\u2019s ironed on correctly when you can pull up on the clear film and the decal remains on the fabric.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"cell small-12 large-6\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.artofproductions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/iron-on-vinyl-christmas-ornament-.jpg\" \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"grid-x\">\n<div class=\"cell small-12 large-6\">\n<p><span class=\"step\">3<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Open the embroidery hoop and place the fabric inside of it, centered. Secure the hoop back together.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"cell small-12 large-6\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.artofproductions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/easy-embroidery-hoop-ornaments-.jpg\" \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"grid-x\">\n<div class=\"cell small-12 large-6\">\n<p><span class=\"step\">4<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Turn the ornament over and hot glue the remaining fabric to the back of the embroidery hoop.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"cell small-12 large-6\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.artofproductions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/embroidery-hoop-ornament-directions-1.jpg\" \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"grid-x\">\n<div class=\"cell small-12 large-6\">\n<p><span class=\"step\">5<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Hot glue greenery and faux berries to the top of the hoop (you can also use ribbon and glue a bow to the top). I started using ribbon but then switched to greenery, but how you embellish is up to you.
